Hotel Centrale - Cernobbio

Loved the spacious family room and the breakfast spread was solid-great coffee (though could be better!). Only drawback was some noise from neighboring rooms. A really enjoyable stay!

Truly enjoyed high quality breakfasts, and clean hotel.

the place was wonderful small, with its lovely friendly staff that were supposed to give you food on request. the hotel was located in a magnificent place, close to a ferry port.

Everything was perfect, clean hotel, perfect and excellent location in the Lake Como area. Location: the property was close to ferry or bus, the waterfront, where the ferries up-and-down the lake arrive and depart, and France & Italy. Found Harry's Bar with perfect drinks 200 metres away...

Centrale exceeded my expectations . It's conveniently located near lake como and various restaurants, perfect for my day tour. The breakfast buffet had plenty of delicious options, and the staff were very good too.

Really good restaurant on site, but remember to make a reservation otherwise you will wait for a table minimum 30'. Clean and nice hotel. We enjoy our stay.

Ideal spot for relaxation with a charming breakfast experience. Accommodating staff. Spacious family room provided ample comfort for all of us.

Location at centre of Cernobbio, however, the square that it faces onto is now a parking lot.

This feels like a family run hotel, but a disfunctional family. Some of the staff appear to have no interest in customers or the hotel. We had one of the weirdest room layouts that I have come across with twin beds in oppostite corners. Noise came through from neighbouring rooms as if the walls did not exist. I was refused a beer on the varanda at 6pm as the were setting up for dinner. The choice at breakfast was very limited: watered down orange juice, sugar dusted crossants and one form of roll, one form of meat, one form of cheese on one day - on the other day no cheese at all. However, my least favourite idiosyncray as a television set in the breakfast room, louding showing the shopping channel.

Nice spacious room. Great AC, but kitchen lacked utensils for cooking.

Room too small and shabby. Very expensive. Internet charges way out of line in this day and age.

The staff at the desk and in the bar were charming, friendly and knowledgeable. Although we would have preferred a lake view, the location was very handy for the lake being just a few short minutes walk away

Central location made exploring effortless! The staff was attentive and helpful, and I loved having a dedicated ironing space in our room 😊 The breakfast offered a great selection, perfect for starting the day right.

Despite the overall positive experience, there was some confusion with luggage that caused unnecessary stress.

Location. Slightly more affordable than others in an expensive part of Italy.

They asked for my passport on arrival to keep overnight. Then they lost my passport. When I asked for it at the front desk the next day, they insisted that I already collected it. This resulted in some argument. I was told that I am in "some confusion" and that I must search for my passport in my room. To make a long story short, they eventually did find it and returned it to my room with some apology.

The location was excellent with good restaurant and parking, staff were friendly and helpfull.

Having stayed at this hotel on a number of previous occasions we noted a need for update in the public areas, carpets were showing signs of wear and general decor was getting tired.
